Where we are up to so far...
Aliquippa City Park
Remembering the past, Grieving the wrong, Celebrating the great & Getting on with Really Living
To Date:
- Mrs Novak has agreed to gift two blocks of land to the city for a park.

- We have yet to hand a letter to the city to confirm that gift, so they can approve the park and complete the sign-over process.

- Ed Hancock has done some great drawings of potential park designs, including another derelict building, which would need to be given also.

- Some of Ed's pics will be displayed over the next few days.
Why do we need a park?
Aliquippa has a great history and we need to tell the stories

We need a focal space downtown - green space gives us a reason to be downtown

We need to value our children by providing safe  play space in every neighborhood

Recreation has enormous benefits for all ages
What should be included in the space?
This is your space to add ideas and suggestions. Better still, come down to the Cafe and talk it over!
